The River is my first painting of the 30-in-30 Painting Challenge. I’ve been off-grid a bit because I have been preparing for this challenge. I have never completed all 30. This September I’m going to give it my best effort.
We are all busy. It’s challenging, and at times, overwhelming, to attempt to accomplish all the things I want to do. This month I’m going to focus on these paintings. The fridge is stocked with frozen pizza, fish sticks, meat, vegetables, tamales, and hot links. And to keep the natives calm . . . ice cream. I mention food because the first time I attempted the 30 day painting challenge I forgot to feed my family. Ooops!
As if on cue. . . The Challenge starts and so do other challenges, unplanned, unforeseen challenges. I’m writing this from a hospital room. (My Nana is getting better, thank you) This was NOT in my plans. I’ve got to be like a river, I need to accommodate. I’ve got to be flexible. I need to keep moving.
Thanks for supporting my challenge by visiting everyday! All the paintings are available for purchase, so be the first to stop by!
One down. 29 to go.
